World Humanist Forum
Towards the Universal Human Nation
Founded in Moscow in 1993 on the initiative of Silo, we are a global Forum for the study and positioning on global issues from the perspective of Universalist Humanism.
Our objectives

Global Studies
The objective of the Humanist Forum is to study and develop positions on global problems affecting the world today.

Analysis space
The Forum is a cultural organization dedicated to developing structural relationships beetwen scientific, political, artistic and religious phenomena.

Search for non-violent proposals
We work toward a future without violence or discrimination, where human dignity prevails.
4
Information instrument
The Foro aims to become a permanent instrument of information, exchange, and debate among people and institutions from the world's most diverse cultures.
Forum History

1993
First edition held in Moscow, Russia Marqking the beginning of the global humanist movement.
2
1994-2008
Development of historic events that consolidated the Forum's international presence.

2008-2020
Evolution toward regional Forums in Latin América and Asia, expanding the reach of the movement.
4
2021-Presente
Adaptation to virtual formats and expasion of the World Humanist Forum.

Regional Forums 2026
American Forum
In 2026, it will be held with representatives from the entire region and specific topics from the American context.
Asian Forum
Officially launched this year, connecting humanists from across Asia with diverse cultural perspectives.
European Forum
More than 22 european countries will participate in meetings than transcend borders and build international networks.
African Forum
Implementation of digital platforms will facilitate greater inclusion and global accessibility at the African Forum.

International Participation
Our community is constantly growing. During the 5th Latin American Humanist Forum, more than 260 people participated with over 96 speakers from 22 countries. In the upcoming 2026 Forums, we will work virtually and in-person to overcome geopolitical barriers and build bridges of global understanding.
The Universalist Humanism
In all cultures, at their most creative, a humanistic attitude permeates the social environment. Thus, discrimination, war, and violence in general are repudiated. Freedom of ideas and beliefs gains a strong momentum, which, in turn, encourages research and creativity in science, art, and other social expressions.
